the horrifying part about this game is how shit it is.
i wouldn't even dare call it psychological horror, it's closer to poopoillogical horror
Edit: Seeing how many people in this comment section truly believe this to be scary and defend the poor use of jumpscares actually makes me sad. It makes sense why most horror is even worse today than it has been in the past.
one of the reason why i love watching xqc is that he loves to scare himself and it's kinda funny. xD
I really do like the foreshadowing in this game for example, i'm pretty sure there is a demon mask spotted at least in one place in the "astral" house but it's a shame that other than this, the game isn't really as fleshed out as it could be for the concept it has.

loud random sounds or jumpscares = scary, or apparently that's what every movie and game maker thinks bcs thats literally all this game is.
the only scary thing I've literally ever seen was hereditary and the people I saw it with agree. I still wouldn't really say it's scary I'm not sure what word to use but it's the only one I've seen.
