1. the problem is 20 years ago, people made games cus they were passionate about it and wanted to make a amazing game that everyone loved and in turn they would buy it and it makes them money. now its just corporation trying to min max budgeting to turn as much prophet guaranteed. If you don't have the right motivation when making it, it will show in the gameplay.

4. bro i was so obsessed with l4d when i was around 6 and used to lock myself in my brothers room so i could play it on his pc, and then l4d2 announced nearing my birthday and my brother knew it was the perfect birthday gift for me. i remember talking to people on voice comms and telling them i was 7 yrs old LOL. it's crazy now looking back at this cus im now almost 21 years old and shit, they better make an ACTUAL l4d3

5. Miss the days when I was genuinely afraid of zombies l4d and l4d2, Because the music and the sound design were definitely terrifying to hear since it was too realistic for me as a kid. Not to mention it was one of the entities that introduced me to gaming along with Half-Life 1 & 2.

Its not about Dev Laziness, more so the executives finding all sorts of ways to cut costs, and often times its the devs themselves that are let go, so as time goes on, there are less devs working on ever bigger and bigger games. The one singular exceptions I can name is Cloud Imperium Games with Star Citizen. Those guys are the opposite; finding ways to extend development time, but at the detriment of the final game, and the performance of the game itself.

11. You know – What is more ironic – "The Anacrusis" DID DETTER! Yes, another game, but now(!) made by L4D3 devs.

    If B4B – was made by several devs from Original team, The Anacrusis – was made by DOZENS!

    And it's looks and works better. A LOT!

    Like someone said – " "The Anacrusis" – is a REAL L4D3 which we want, but B4B – is more like a L4D4 in terms how it distant themselves from original concept".

    And also – You hear Dev. Commentary – but the BIGGEST IRONY – you know who said them? The exact several devs – which made later the B4B. Like they didn't learn THEY LESSONS. Pathetic and sad.

12. I love this game, having achieved 3100 hours in the Steam version I can say I've never got tired of it. Just imagine this game having a fuckton of replayability on the base game, now, quadruple it with the absolute ton of mods the workshop has. It's just always different in one way or another.

    Another thing I don't understand is why people think the game's dead or something. Like sure, it doesn't have the playerbase CSGO or Apex Legends has but the game isn't dead at all. You don't even have to queue up or make a lobby to play, you just find a match and start playing. It has official servers, it has community servers, there's even community servers with a COMPETITIVE game mode called Zonemod or Confogl, which are used in tournaments or scrims and you will always find good, experienced players if you want a challenge. I would like people to play and stop thinking they're gonna be waiting 30 minutes for a match because there is people who still play it regularly

FROM MY EXPERIENCE, the game is not like this at all. at least not now. i played it about a month in after its release and there was a couple things buggy but not as bad as this. im calling fat cap. i even started playing it again recently just a bit and its still just fine. just wish there was more content and progression
