Now let's talk about: Alec Baldwin The Rush Film set shooting prosecutors saying actors actually manslaughter for the deadly shooting of cinematographer Helena Hutchins Lindsey Davis is in Santa Fe New Mexico with the latest for us Good morning Lindsay Good morning to you Michael Stunning charges here for the actor and the armorer. The District attorney says that they're warranted though, citing a criminal disregard for safety. She says that there's a point where negligence becomes recklessness and in this case it costs. Steve Put your name on the list would you go over there just for the content.

No man, what are you crazy? That's insane. Well I want to know what to say man I saw I was off streaming I was like ah, why would I go to I don't know dude I don't know nothing about this. like yeah dude I I definitely a play Man Well I I I'm not a Japanese I just don't I don't know if a song would go yeah totally dude I've had I've had infinitely better opportunities for for travel for like, actually fun, okay to more fun countries to visit as well I Think my take before everybody's taken is that it's excuse me Very unfortunate, but okay when it comes under gun safety. Um, things are super Black and Whites and things you have to do when it comes to a gun.

It actually did happen regardless of the context. it's a gun. so unfortunately you know there has to be some sort of uh consequence for the Uh. Alec Baldwin Guys, people need to respect guns.

Nominated actor faces criminal charges for the 20. I Don't care if it's a movie Setter Respect Firearms because of this negligence. Because of this this recklessness, the Santa Fe New Mexico District Attorney announced that Baldwin along with the film's armorer Hannah Gutierrez read will be charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter in the death of cinematographer. Helena Hutchins The film's assistant director is agreeing to a plea deal for negligent use of a deadly weapon.

Three different people: if they had only done their job, we wouldn't be standing here. Gutierrez reads it. Um, the for those of you who don't know what happened like uh in in Hollywood blanks. Okay, it's basically a bullet even.

but it's dangerous though. The actual bullet that like fires off so it only has the the the first half of the bullet and it still explodes. Okay, it still explodes like an actual bullet. You have the cartilage.

there's no projectile. Okay, it has a casing, not cartilage. Um, in this circumstance, isn't that how Bruce Lee's son died uh Brandon Lee on the set of crow died because one of the casings was stuck inside the chamber and the second bullet fired the second blank that fired basically shot the casing through like a projectile. So I told you as you would with lights are still dangerous Partridge is gonna happen with Firearms Yep, it propelled It Forward like a bullet because ultimately a bullet is just like a piece of metal.

Like you know what? I mean That's that's what it is. That's what shoots you. It's packed with gunpowder. Uh, the the thing that flies out of the gun is just packed with gunpowder and it ejects.
Yeah. Oh, if it doesn't actually shoot anything at the tip of it. and if it's just a gunpowder, uh, if it's just a gunpowder full of, uh, it's a gun, powder filled, uh, casing, then it's nothing. You just get the the same effect of a real bullet exploding.

Got it? Well I want to know about this? I don't know I think it's actually kind of cool topic to be honest. not cool, but not cool. but interesting. and this circumstances I believe that.

um, was it the I don't remember I need the refresh. Oh, relaxing. Now it's a lot of things you don't know about the topic of prop guns. I Think it like casings.

They're actually five movies. What do they use? It's a cool environment. It's a cool realm who died. Okay, that's dark, probably not funny.

The realm of the cinema is interesting. Your mom loves this. uh okay. suck my relax stupid.

which is what I said to your mom. Actually, not stupid, but I said suck my and she likes it when I talk to her like that bro I Want to know? Yes, blanks can still be dangerous at Point Blank Because it's still like firing off something. You know what I mean Yeah, but in this instance I Believe there was a live bullet Journey Released a statement saying these charges are the result of a very flawed investigation and an inaccurate understanding of the full facts. Hannah Will be exonerated of wrongdoing by a jury Baldwin's attorney says the actor relied on the professionals with whom he worked who assured him the gun did not have live rounds.

We will fight these charges and we will win. Make sense. The 64 year old actor was holding a Top Gun and rehearsing the scene revolver discharge that's not firing off a live round, striking and killing Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza Thank you. Why did you believe in ultimately that they had a strong enough case to bring charges against uh, both Hannah and Alec They were not doing this whether it's a job or not in order, and certainly with guns.

A gun-conscious movie set according to court documents, handled the gun before it was on your job. I'm not gonna lie. uh, doing the right things man too. Okay, it is kind of wild that like Alec Baldwin gets clapped on this like there might be extra details that I'm unfamiliar with.

like he knew the weight of the gun or something but like it is like it's not guys. Here's my take. Okay, a professional, okay person that works on a car knows ain't about a car. And you're you're the driver.

You're just right. you're all. Your job is to just drive forward as the actor. Okay, the guy says it yo.

Dude, when you get to the car, it's in park, you're the driver. You go to the car right, right. it's on drive. You run somebody over right even though you're the driver.
It's respect that the car can cause harm and is a weapon and you have to. You have to make it. Do this and look. look as a driver.

Is it on Park or not? That's it. That's it. Conditions that he has control over. It is a comparable check the gun yo.

but it's still it's a part of the job. It's a gun yo. But Ultimately, it's a gun. There are plenty no producers involved in a massive project like this and I've only seen and I might be wrong.

I've only seen Alec Baldwin be charged with uh with his negligence or involuntary man. You guys you guys are ignorant ignorance. Everybody behind him fails. It's a gun.

It's the highest like level of like threat it can have. It means somebody to cause harm. Every layer has to check everybody. It's not a one-point expensive system, it's everybody.

End of story. Otherwise, why the trigger had to have been. It's what when you go to a gun range or a displacement There are rules you just don't break about guns. That's it.

Doesn't matter if you're alone, if there's people behind you, it doesn't matter There Are Rules around guns and you just don't break them. These are industry protocols, but it is still surprising to me that he's charged. Wait I Did not research about this by the way. I Asked him about this.

there were safety negligence on set. There were three previous discharges before Helena was shot crew was walking out for safety concerns. He pulled the trigger. It was impossible for it not to be pulled.

Not everyone said knows that our Gun Works if you don't know how a Gun Works you shouldn't be handling it to let alone pointing at people and pulling the trigger. What is your problem? Yes. I Remember these aspects of the production and this is like it's an actor his life. It's a firearm.

Stop saying it's an act after it's a firearm. Just read them with perspective. They're actually powerful. Everything that happens.

The conditions for an unsafe work environment. Oh man, this chatter. but um, as a producer on this, he played a role in creating the conditions for an unsafe work environment. But I Also don't know guys guys guys, would you really want to be part of an industry okay or a setup where you as a director you hire some random guy that has a good rating on on Yelp or some right? Because nobody has a mega budget.

some armor right? So it's up to your Cinema center right and what you want. your your friend's life or colleague's life to be threatened because one guy did his job wrong, he died. It is what it is absolutely not. You want everybody to know by Firearms know how to check them and either due diligence when the firearm is headed to them, every layer that they can be checked should be yo you should be some some oh dude I'm gonna assuming they did a job.

what is this but two Now let's be clearly haven't officially been filed, they will be filed bro him hiring scabs and union busting is not a fact that I'm avoiding. but as it pertains to him like uh, as it pertains to his like legal liability and involvements I Do not think if someone's job they are at fault too. but ultimately it comes down to Safe gun handling. Yes, but I think it's a very crucial thing.
People don't respect guns I think especially like in America Overall if it is a big culture okay, not respecting guns. so easy to get and if they could just go around and buy them, people don't respect guns. Respect guns. Guns are crazy dangerous.

somebody's such a dumb like we're talking about whether whether or not he is criminally liable. I So this is not a case of murder, this is the bookcase. Did he have a duty to do something? He didn't Did he violate that? Duty And it's going to all come down to whether or not he pulled that trigger. I Will tell you this right now.

this is going to be a battle of the experts. You're going to have experts saying there's no researcher could have gone off unless you pull the trigger saying well if guys, it's not relevant because you oh my God you're gonna lose my mind. Okay, everybody shut the up. 100 In a capitalist court system, no one is caring about routine scab hiring practices as it pertains to Illegal matter what the are you talking about? Okay, you're talking about like a moral conversation which I Agree with you it is immoral to higher scabs on its own.

Okay, and this is one of them. Uh, scabs is that you have a less safe work environment. But we're not talking about that. We're talking about this as like someone died.

This one is so annoying. The main point of contention here is is Alec is is Alec Baldwin supposed to check the chamber before firing it? Okay, or did he actually the gun and the gun fell and fired? Why use real guns? Ultimately though, if there is no reason for him to fire in that scene like they're saying and he didn't actually really fire the gun like he's claiming yeah or something. Okay, which by the way, there's cameras everywhere. There would be footage of the process.

no, no, no no okay no no. Ultimately, if if you're basically they get some of your life on your car and the carpool says bro, you're in third gear, good luck, Are you gonna just send it full throttle and just Juice It Up and not even check your action 30 or not, Would you do that with your own life? Just say it. you're a stupid as you're a suicidal. It is a non-union replacement.

Okay, the armor Hannah Gutierrez read was inexperienced and negligent. This was her second movie. It's an analogy. Armor got the job because her dad was a big name I Remember that um as if it's her own life.

The Union Armor movies bro this is a this is a Russian roulette with a fake gun. Good luck. did you go bang it? no the she's non-union I thought she was Union yeah and the people that were working okay, we're oh my God we're talking about like aspects of this conversation that uh, we'll get to an assistant of course when I shoot it because I'm going below because I covered this I covered this like last year and I I don't you are completely right I don't remember it uh I don't remember police officer myself. It is beyond common knowledge.
208 Check and clear the gun when it is handed to you. Even if someone checks it right in front of you at the end of the day, there shouldn't be no live Mo on set. It's true that came out yesterday, so all of your other favorite content creators have covered it with their own flavor and their own seasoning. So now you're just repeating their talking points to me in the most contentious manner possible.

while I'm trying to comprehend what exactly happened. and when I ask a question, you literally still shove down my goddamn throat instead of letting me get to it and understand the exact details of a situation. Okay, I did not have an infinite amount of hours to basically cover every single thing. Sometimes I have to cover it in real time.

Sometimes you might have already developed your opinions because you watched another content creator cover it. That doesn't mean that this is your opportunity to try and debate Lord me. While I'm trying to understand what I'm saying am I having a meltdown stun lock scabs on my you are 100 correct, He literally broke the first rule of gun safely. Don't point a gun at anything you don't intend.

It's a great question because for that second charge, there's a firearm enhancement. Which means if a jury finds him guilty, that is a mandatory. That's what makes this so significant. They're really going after Baldwin here.

Now you know Alec Baldwin is not one to sort of hold his tongue as you know he's done interviews and he's no bypass. Nobody knew what he didn't know, did he even pull the trigger? Different sentence, bro, it's five years. Straight up it is to manage. These guys is Alec Baldwin and the armorer both facing the same.

how did the bullet get into the gun? That's her whole job and we know that that bullet wasn't the only live round that was found on the set. I Believe there were five other rounds, so it was her job to make sure that that round never even got in the gun. And Alec Baldwin as an actor and a producer on that film, he shouldn't have caught the gun and pulled the trigger. Well, at least that's what the allegation is.

So this there's blame to go around. and Dave Hall's taking that deal in my eyes. he's going to be the star witness. he's going to be a co-operating witness testifying against.

Baldwin and Hannah Gutierrez read: uh Jesse Weber We have to let you go for now. but I know we're gonna probably pick this conversation up later on as things get underway with interesting. If you fire a gun, you're responsible for whatever. whatever happens next, you're right.
Except this is the one instance where you don't think that you're firing a gun with a bullet in it. It's why it's called involuntarily manslaughter. Yeah, it's not a fake gun. It's why it's called involuntarily shot real bullets.

You still have to understand that this is literally one of the few instances where you are literally under the assumption that like, if an accident even happens, it's not supposed to like literally fire a bullet agrees because they know they know. Dude, you show your screen out of oh yeah, out of all things I Respect Okay I I have to respect guns. Okay, listen, guns are scary anyway. Um, okay, all right.

several arts and crew members on the New Mexico set at the Western roasts were cinematographer. Helena Hutchins was killed on Thursday by a prop going shot by Baldwin reportedly Productions in my belly for like an hour and a half. Go piss bro. it's fine.

Yeah, we've been back on for like three hours but still yo this is X x on the video I'm going through my voice as well that is anyone knows that boy I Don't know. he's just so sorry anyone knows that boy I don't know, he's just so soy.

Dude, even in the FUCKING MILITARY around the world has dedicated muzzle brakes just for blank firing. These things are made and invented either by blood or from the thought of it. Doesn't matter if it's a prop gun or a real gun, blank rounds or real rounds, a gun is a gun and should be treated with equal amounts of care and respect.

Can Hasan not talk while the video is playing? Bro pauses for a longer time then the video itself 💀🤮

    Who?

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Miles Tolliver says:

Alec Baldwin said that he knew it was a real gun but believed it was filled with blanks. If are going to be aiming a real gun at a person and pulling the trigger, you have to check it first no excuses. Especially when you are the producer on set

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Keegan Owen says:

Hasan explaining the Brandon Lee misfire wasn't accurate. The close ups used dummy rounds with no powder, but still had primers and bullets. The force from kne of the primers made the bullet eject from the dummy round into the chamber. Then they swapped to blanks without cleaning or examining the gun. Blanks used primers and powder (and are usually loaded with even more powder than real rounds), but no bullet. So the bullet in the barrel was propelled by the blank's powder into Brandon, fatally wounding him. Hasan retold it like the casing of a blank was pushed into the barrel and then shot out by another blank. He wasn't too far off, but it's clear he skim read it a decade ago. 😅

I don't think xqc understands what an actor is

I don’t watch Hassan too often, but every time I do, he is ALWAYS GETTING ONE GUY’D

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Launders says:

get shot with a 50cal round and tell me "it's not his job to check" I think y'all would have a different take

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars cfgvd says:

He should be in prison many years but sadly that will never happen

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Sir Dankleberry says:

He was using a single action revolver meaning he actively pulled the hammer back and pulled the trigger at someone else. Firearms safety 101 is to treat all firearms like they're loaded.

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars xQc says:

Do you think Alec Baldwin should be convicted of manslaughter? Manslaughter can mean unintentional for those that don't know based on the replies.
