MTF, even with hormone blockers and receiving oestrogen, still retain a lot of the benefits from going through puberty and just being male in general. one of the specific ones that wouldn’t even require a male to go through puberty would by lung capacity. an MTF would retain that lung capacity compared to a cis female

Unless she has a smaller frame, and has been on hormones for like 5+ years and is most likely fairly young, then I couldn't say that. But that isn't most trans women. There isn't problem with passing as well or not as well as cis people, but hey man… I don't know shit about sports

14. Thinking testing for hormone levels is fair as a concept, but the way its enforced right now holds trans women at a much, much higher standard than cis women. AFAB folks can experience T level surges up to 150ng/dl, which is 15x higher than the limit set for trans female athletes, but that isn't considered a problem apparently. Although hormone testing is supposed to be routine for ALL female competitors, it would appear as though this rule is rarely enforced with cisgender athletes. The limit continues to sit at 10ng/dl, which is 16.6 times lower than the max threshold for T levels at their worst and approximately equal to resting T levels in cis women at best, effectively excluding all trans women who have not received a double orchiectomy and most who already have. I continue to assert that this standard is hot garbage, yet we live in a world where even THAT isn't good enough for weirdo guys molested by their pastors and beat with belt buckles by their drunken stepfathers. These particularly sad people look to sex assigned at birth when evaluating the eligibility of trans athletes to compete with cis athletes, at least in the case of women who are trans, effectively poo-pooing the already ridiculous rule implemented by the IOC in some 35+ states. It's also worth mentioning that antiandrogens aren't as effective as many people think, I've been on finasteride and max-dose spirinolactone for 3+ years and my T levels just recently dipped below 150 ng/dl, I was at 900 when I started, then 200, then 100, then 200 again, then 600, then 175, and now I'm just under 150. Hot garbage
