But owl needs contenders to survive. Without it there is no place to pick up players from, people who are deep into competitive overwatch see contenders as little league or the equivalent of college football, players get DRAFTED from contenders to OWL, if contenders dies then so does the excitement for new seasons and new players in the overwatch league
