Oh, oh all, right, let's see it. Let's overwatch, let's see what the danny thinks of watch too. Let's see it, who is a couple new maps and some heroes? I will be very disappointed. Okay, i played overwatch too, and it reminded me of a stevie, wonder song, and that song is you haven't been doing this more than i do.

Why are you dabbling dead, just one tank? This is more like overwatch 1.1 immediately. The beta confronts you with the horrifying truth that roll cue is still in the game. Why? Why and how? How did this moronic system even make it into the first game, let alone make it all the way into overwatch 2.. The q times here are horrendous.

They are giving gta 5 a run for its money. With these long assq times. There is a fast pass thing, but it does absolutely nothing blizzard priority. One for this game should be get players into matches when the game launches, i assume you'll be able to pick between roll queue and actually get into a match queue, but it's kind of sad.

The reality is, is that when you played when you played solo queue, okay, if people that were off roll would just lose throw your gamer you'd have somebody who normally plays tank. That would have played ps and you lost the game just because of the uh. Just because of getting into that queue, so it's so competitively. It's really good, but i think casually.

Sometimes. I can understand why people will be against roll queue competitively though yeah i dude. I agree 100 percent, but casually sometimes will match you. There is a good argument.

This is sad that they still haven't figured out how to solve such a simplistic problem. Yet, let's talk gameplay overwatch 2 has made big earth shift. We all know and love. First off mccree's name has been changed to ryan.

That's it's david! There's more and the nighttime maps are daytime now, that's it. The biggest change is switching from 6v6 to 5v5. There are some upsides to this idea. Instead of having two tanks, each team has one super tank with extra power.

Whoever plays tainted doesn't feel like that. You guys can't don't be rude to donkey guys, but i just want to i just people with the paid engine and he's you guys. You can say when's the name noem. This guy is missing tracking with winston i'm not kidding.

He he's he's missing idea. Instead of having two, he he missed again he's missing, wins and dragging the tank with extra power. Whoever plays tank gets to feel like the leader, that's the real thing, but you have to keep in mind that all of these heroes were designed for a 6v6 game. Suddenly changing it to 5v5 without making fundamental changes feels like one of those player-made custom modes.

There are new maps, bastion and arisa have been totally real. Tanks are insane the new hero. 72 just finished my last exam for the semester. Mccree can't stun.

So as right click does nothing now may can't freeze people other than that is business as usual. You're, probably looking at this gameplay right now and saying: oh no donkey, you put the wrong footage. This is just gon na watch, one game i'll be out, because, in terms of balance, though, guys in terms of balance, though, what? What what i think, though, is that um the game is kind of like people didn't realize, because they probably stopped playing the game for a while, so now that they come back, they think it's not different, but you can actually play the game because you're not getting Stunned and bumped and jacked and friends and mind controlled and and suppressed, silenced, invisible banished rooted elementary frozen like you can actually play the game now nope. This is overwatch too.
This is the right game. Most of the heroes have not been touched. Widowmaker still sucks ass, junkrat is still insane. Moira can still out damage dps, while out healing the other healer symmetra is still zero fun to play.

You're still gon na get yelled at for picking hamston, probably more now since you're the only tank, i know behind the scenes. It's a total blunder on top of kovid blizzard as a studio is collapsing. Jeff watch left every employee is fired or going to jail. I've been reading about this stuff forever, but now to finally have overwatch 2 in my hands.

It feels like a major defeat. It feels like blizzard could be the next bioware. However, we still haven't played the tv. That's.

What i said for me is the main draw of overwatch yeah, that's the sake of the fans. I hope that 99 of the development team has been focused on the co-op, because i don't know what they've been doing for more than two years with the pvp. None of overwatch's core issues have been addressed here. 5V5 ends up making the game even more steamroll heavy than the original.

The game still expects an unrealistic amount of teamwork from random players, and the objectives are still anti-fun garbage without pve. This is more of a minor patch to an abandoned game masquerading as a sequel for marketing. I don't mind the game mode. Pvp is as lazy as it gets, but still better than violent, see guys every take was bad, except for that last one, but it's still better than family.

Ah bad, okay, that's the wrong thing! Okay, there was some wrong takes it. Wasn't it wasn't all wrong? It was some wrong ones in here and there, but um biggest game ever made when you start the map is like this and you go damn. This game is big. Then you get teleported to the other side of the map and realize.

Oh, my god. This game is big, then you can teleport to the top of the map and you go whoa this game. Then you realize there's an entire other world, that's what you're saying: there's a floating island and a massive city and an entire secret castle, two of them. Actually, there are secret zones within secret zones within secret zones, so the absolute highest compliment i can pay.

This game is to tell you that i have beaten this game four times now, right out the gate. You were ripping off zelda, you literally wake up in a tomb, open, a big door and the game says: go no hand holding no just go wherever you want to go, except don't fight that guy and don't go over here, because you'll die and don't follow the Beam of light, because that's a scam eldon to put a boss in front of you and say: okay now go into the world and find something to chop his head off with having a concrete goal, like defeating a scumbag ross, makes exploration, feel that much more meaningful And visually this is a world worth exploring walking around in this game is like stepping inside of a painting. There are hundreds upon hundreds of scenic vistas which look impossibly curated and intentional, and the spaces in between are populated with an absurd array. I didn't purposely give anything: fromsoft is famous for their enemy design and they are really bringing the heat here, not only in sheer quantity, but also in terms of moves and variety.
Penguins is in this game: doggy statues, doggy, wizards, giant, lobsters vampire bats that sing the halo theme. They got pumpkin head to be in this stretchy lizard man. The list goes down. The video makes good videos.

Please don't spoil this game for me, but i can't this game cannot be spoiled because this game does not end okay. This is dark. Souls 4. No end credits edition, but what's frustrating about eldon ring is that for all the effort that has gone into the world and enemies, it feels like they only spent 10 seconds balancing this game.

The difficulty in this game is best described as uh. What is what is the word? I'm looking for here, um total horseshit. This is an evil game made by an evil man and whoever's through some of the abilities that felt so vicious. You know i'm gon na say i'm gon na say, because some of the abilities in the game felt more vicious than what and then all the all the other souls games.

Something like they were pretty perfectly designed for to be upset at them because they are they're. Brutal did not show up to work just from saying that already people are pissed off at me, they're saying donkey sucks. I hate you donkey nitpicking and biased. You only like xbox, but always remember.

I beat this and this is stupid and i be held in ring. One two three four times, because why? Because i'm the realest gamer of all time - and i say it's too hard - i am calling this game out, not because it's a bad game, but because it's an incredible game that is held back by very poor balancing. Many of your deaths in this game do not feel earned like dying to this stupid or losing 70 000 runes to the wonky platforming. So many enemies in this game can kill you in one or two hits or kill you with a combo that comes out so fast feels like one hit, or they can stun you into another hit, which also feels like a one-hit kill, or they can just kill.
You in one grab straight up having super aggressive enemies with crazy combos and unpredictable attacks is the fun kind of difficult, but making those moves hit for your entire health bar is lame and cheap rewards now what's fun about. Is you never know what you're gon na get? What sucks about that? Is you end up struggling in a cave for an hour to get a wizard staff that you can't even use see? He cannot actually turn or a book or a bible or a cooking dog or some garbanzo and a fake thing or something? Then you have this? Guy, who can do this and he can say this or he can say this, and he has this move too. This guy, who has a ton of health by the way, is worth 3, 800 xp only 500.. Also, what is it that, with a boss, you be, you start, it works on for 40 minutes and then other formats.

It has an ability that you've never seen ever before after 40 minutes of trying them. How does that work? How does that work? You think? That's up, though, look at these guys they're, literally sleeping watch. What happens when i hit l2? I just got 20 000 xp for that. There are so many chad's and summons and special moves in this game that should make elven ring a wonderland for experimentation, but because the upgrade system is so rigid and stingy, you feel discouraged from creating wacky builds and then on top of that, you have this late Game difficulty spike where it feels like your character, just got reset back to level one.

The end game bosses are so brutal and so fast that it ultimately funnels every player into using the same broken builds. It's probably starting to sound, like i hate this game, but try to remember. I beat this big ass game four times four and a half actually clearly they did something right games like this aren't far and few between. So i want them to get this one just right, and the good news is that most of the problems with eldon rings.

Oh my god! What the is that his ashes mimicked here most of the problems with elden ring, can be fixed by one dude with a slider tool. Just turn enemy damage down by 20. You know 30 70 and we're back in business. I don't even agree, you know guys.

I don't agree because i wish i wish that um in souls games armor was better and her resistances were better to the point where, if you spent all your most your points into wearing armor, you get rewarded for taking less damage, but in this game it doesn't Matter what you have where you upgraded what your character is wearing. You still get almost the same exact damage as you took without it. So what's the point of it, i love armor. Armor is cool, it's a cool thing, but this game there's a reward wearing cool armor.

Why? It's not wrong! Show me the biggest hit in the game by whatever enemy and show me the biggest in the game right while wearing the best armor in the game. The most the most hard one, the most upgraded one, it's not about giving a difference. It's just nice, it's gon na be like 15 difference like why tonight tonight.

I think the review was a little harsh considering it's just a beta of the pvp (which is free) and we have seen nothing about the pve which is the main area of focus for ow2. That being said, it is still a tiny set of changes considering 3 years of nothing.

  2. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars scisorcs says:

Bro people don’t understand that this is literally beta for a small portion of the game. PVE seems to be most of their focus, the only reason PVP was released at all was because people were complaining. Now they finally got the PVP and people are still complaining. People just don’t realize that overwatch 2 main focus from overwatch 1 is PVE, which they’re still developing. Honestly I’d love for them to take their time with PVE and not pull an anthem or cyberpunk on us. People have to realize that getting any content is already nice, and it’s not even full release. If overwatch 2 sucks on full release for PVE and PVP then yea complaints justified, but right now you have an early beta for one mode.

  3. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars John McCain says:

They better have been working on the PVE and did something amazing… which I doubt because the game was never even designed with that in mind to start with. If PVP was their main focus they failed. It's literally just the same game. This is a patch not a sequel. You have to be on massive copium to defend this game because it's going to die out the same way OW1 did since it's basically the same game with most of the exact same problems. Only difference is it's now not designed for 5v5 so characters like Hamtaro are even less viable than they used to be.

Okay definitely don’t need a whole new game. But the fact there’s no bs like all the shields and stupid combos like the mine and trap, being frozen, or getting shit on by doomfist. I played ow a couple weeks ago and I was breaking shields to play the objective. This game doesn’t look like that which is good

  5. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars ImSmokeyy says:

it amazes me that so many people still dont understand that only the PVE will be extra money(probably around 40€).. the pvp upgrades , reworks, everything else related to PVP is a free mega patch(we havent seen even half of the half), simple as that

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Wilson says:

All the changes are fine but it could have just been released as an update for a game? Any other studio would have released it as a massive new update to 'fix the game!' but blizzard decided there is no point in putting effort into something unless they can release it as a paid package

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars tinius says:

Im going to give my honest take, I agree with dunkey, this game is going to struggle at launch unless the PVE is very good, there isnt enough PvP changes to warrant long term investment. But im going to be hopeful here and say that if the PVE is good, and the game survives, i have a feeling OW2 can become great again. How this happens is if the dev team actually manages to change it over some time. How will they change overwatch, well my sneaking suspicion is that they are trying to create a feedback loop from PVE to PVP. You see, creating cool weird unbalanced shit, like minor hero reworks or other abilities for heroes, new guns, ETC, is incredibly easy to do within PVE, if these changes are well received, for example lets say they add an ability to mccree in PVE and it is way cooler and better than a real ability, perhaps they start to shift the PVP version more into the same role. I understand a lot of people think "You cant balance the PVP around the PVE thats retarded" but its not about balance its about motivation and a safe space to explore character options and changes. the changes will always need to be balanced differently because PVE is an entirely different system but the essence of what makes a hero fun might change because of PVE influence. So at the very least I think there will be more changes in OW2 over time than OW1, and more is better than none.

xqc immediately goijng off the deep end explaining the bullshit blizzard is doing. Sure, in comp keep role queue. In fucking open play when I just want to get into a match, don't make me fucking wait 10-15 minutes because oohhhhh man I chose assault

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Sick3 says:

OW2 is pretty fun but 10-15min queue times are a big turn-off for me. You approximately need to spend an -+hour on two 10 min games which feels pretty bad. if more people start magically playing and blizzard pulls a rabbit out of a hat it has big potential

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars NorthernLaw says:

xQc has a point about role queue, so whenever I see anyone say "role queue is good" I'm going to assume they are someone that has no friends and solo queues bc role queue is horrible. It is only useful if you solo queue, even then it sucks with queue times

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Nick Grabeck says:

People number wise – NOBODY CARES HOW IT FEELS COMPETITIVELY.
you want wide audience to watch league – make this game playable by wide audience. otherwise both player numbers and OWL gonna be small and negligible.

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars NorthernLaw says:

Role queue is so horrible, glad that they made it so at the very least you could choose if you wanted role queue or not, still shouldn't be a thing in the first place and you know the only reason they allowed an option was because the game was already dead. Nobody better at killing their own franchise than Blizzard

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars TheDoc says:

I'm surprised at the number of people expecting more from the PvP in OW2; I never had the impression that the PvP was going to be any more than an afterthought. PvE and story was and is the ENTIRE drive behind the game. After all, if the PvP was to change as drastically as (apparently) everyone is hoping it was going to, why would they sync those changes to OW1? Why make an entirely different game and then just delete the old game in the process?

OW2 PvP was simply an opportunity to take a second look at the OW formula, not create a new one. There's a difference between fixing something in need of repair and just straight-up inventing a new "wheel". Sure, the game is nearly dead at this point, but OW's fundamental take on team-oriented objective based gameplay hasn't changed since release. We used to love OW back then, so why on Earth would you be expecting an entirely new formula at this point?

Iunno. I never once expected anything more from the PvP, and it baffles me how many people feel disappointed or robbed going into this beta. Honestly, the changes they've put into it have actually exceeded my expectations. The reason they conjoined the two PvP experiences is because it wasn't going to change enough for a sequel. To *PVP*. PvE is the only thing OW2 has ever had going for it, and they better hope the community loves it enough to make up for…just, everything.

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Navmn adc says:

From playing OW when it first launched. I had been hyped for the day OW2 came into fruition. Although it looks kinda fun to play a solo dps role in this. I must say, my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
