I think the main issue is when people make the argument about grinding tf out of challenges to unlock a skin vs being able to pay for it (for those who don't have the time to grind for unlocks). This would be true if the skins you could buy were the skins you could unlock but that's literally never the case. The unlockable content in games nowadays is purposefully garbage to incentivize those who don't want to partake in MTX to cave in and do it. Didn't COD make the unlockable gold guns like a dull ugly gold color and simultaneously have a shiny blinged out gold skin on the market? lol

Bruh got rich and all the sudden he acts like a republican candidate

  3. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Red Renji says:

The problem is that developers actively ruin the experience for standard users (60$ purchasers) such as gutting progression systems and reward structures in favor of mtx. Even if u dont buy or interact with mtx you r still getting fucked in the ass. Bad takes xqc

This is probably one of the most annoying out of touch takes ive ever seen X have

  5. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars mmm says:

Sure microtransactions ruined games. But also think about the fact we can't resell our games once we're done. There's no longer a market for poor gamers that can't afford good games and the actual people that can have zero control over the game they bought to resell it. It's insane.

man xqc is so braindead here

oh oh 2.2k likes vs 1.5k dislikes what did he say

Just dont buy it – xqc 2023

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars LogiMack says:

This dude is so out of touch he is actually addicted to buying microtransactions with his unlimited money

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Paulo Gaspar says:

the problem with the "don't buy it" mentality even if the majority of people don't buy the game, a small portion of rich people will and those people will waste as much money as the majority would all together if they played the money. Which will make every game company still do pay to win games. If 100% of humans did not like microtransations then yeah that would work, but if 15% or 20% like those games then it's going to make the gaming industry worst for everyone else.

just another reason why more people need to be playing deep rock galactic, you get what you pay for, and the DLC cosmetics are not only better than most triple-A games, theyre also miles more affordable

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars mistaken FUTUREZOID says:

probably where xqc is just wrong, his rich guy side showed heavily

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Trippssyy says:

It use to be a good balance with Micro transactions. Take the DLC for Camo on bo2 back in the day. You could still grind really cool camos and earn them just by enjoying the game allowing you to flex AND if you really wanted to flex, you could get the limited # of special skins like the glowing/moving skins they had with irl currency. That was reasonable as it wasn't very pricey in comparison to what you got. Didn't ruin the feeling of customization progression. Only made it so purchasing those DLC was similar in theory to this metaphor "like adding a cherry on the top of the icing" cause you have already or chosen to dedicate time and $ into whatever title.

I just realized how cringe Dropdaz is because it is actually literally gamba.

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mr Perfect Cell says:

Putting in things people can pay for in Free Games, is understandable, because it kinda costs money and a lot of time to make games, but it shouldn't make you better than other people, or give you any kind of advantage.

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars James Hier says:

If the game is free to play, then micro transactions are not only okay but are what allows games like that to exist and get better. If the game itself costs money, and then a majority of the items the devs worked on are behind a paywall, then it’s a major problem.

i really don't get how people think he's wrong lol
