As an unbias older than average user, Mixer really was the better platform. They just dumped their overhead into chopping Twitches knees instead of strengthening its foundation… they went too fast and burnt out.

You can mock Mixer all you want, but it's a shame they didn't succeed. Competition is a good thing, and when there's only one or two viable sources for a service, the quality dips and creators/customers get treated worse.
